Privacy at AAP
Purpose
Shanahan Freight Services Pty. Ltd and related entities including trading as Andrews Airport Parking (all collectively herein called “AAP”, “us” “we” or “our”) is committed to protecting and maintaining the privacy of your personal information and has adopted a set of privacy Principles and Statements in accordance with National Privacy obligations as set out below.

AAP Privacy Principles describe the ways we protect your personal information, how we collect it, why we collect it, how we may use and or disclose your personal information as well as how we keep it secure, accurate and how you may access it.
Personal information about you held by us may include your name, date of birth, current and previous addresses including electronic username, password and email addresses, details of your telephone/mobile phone number, bank account, credit card, occupation, driver's licence details as well as information relating to the services that are provide to you by us.

Protecting your privacy
AAP are committed to providing our customers with the highest levels of what we call “good old fashioned service” to our customers. This includes protecting your privacy.
Set out below is information that we are required to communicate to our customers. We recommend that you keep this information for future reference.
About us
We provide a range of parking and related services, either through a particular division within AAP or through one of our related companies.
Your personal information
Personal information held by us may include your name, date of birth, current and previous addresses, telephone or mobile phone number, email address, bank account or credit card details, occupation, driver's licence number and your AAP membership number, username or password. We also hold details of your services (including their status), and may also hold some details about your personal interests.
If you choose not to provide certain personal information (e.g. your date of birth), we may not be able to provide you with the services you require, or the level of good old fashioned service on which we pride ourselves.
Occasionally, you may need to provide personal information about other individuals to us (e.g. about your authorised representatives). If so, we rely on you to inform those individuals that you are providing their personal information to us and to advise them that we can be contacted for further information.
How we collect personal information
We collect personal information in a number of ways, including:
- directly from you, for example, by phone, in application forms or other agreements, or when you submit your personal details through our websites;
- from third parties such as our related companies, credit reporting agencies or your representatives;

How we use your personal information
Your personal information may be used to:

- assist you to obtain our services;
- provide the services you require;

- inform you of ways the services provided to you could be improved;

When we disclose your personal information
In order to deliver the services you require, we may disclose your personal information to organisations outside of AAP. Your personal information is disclosed to these organisations only in relation to us providing our services to you.

- customer enquiries;
- mailing operations;
- billing and debt-recovery functions;

- installation, maintenance and repair services;
- marketing and research services; and
- website usage analysis.

Help us to ensure we hold accurate information
We take all reasonable precautions to ensure that the personal information we collect, use and disclose is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
However, the accuracy of that information depends to a large extent on the information you provide. That's why we recommend that you:
- let us know if there are any errors in your personal information; and
- keep us up-to-date with changes to your personal information such as your name or address. If you are a subscriber to our online products or services, you may change your personal details by using the relevant facility on our websites.
You can access your personal information
You have a right to access your personal information, subject to some exceptions allowed by law. If you would like to do so, please let us know. You may be required to put your request in writing for security reasons.
We reserve the right to charge a fee for searching for and providing access to your information.
Website & Electronic Privacy Information Statement
AAP is committed to protecting our customers’ privacy and this information is provided as additional information to our Privacy Statement and refers to our AAP website and electronic information collection matters.
AAP’s websites
AAP also offers, provides and supplies its products and services through its various websites. When you visit our web sites, our servers generally record anonymous information such as the time, date and URL of the request. This information helps us to improve and monitor its performance and assist with any third party information analysis we may undertake from time to time.
“Cookies” are used on various websites including our website and are an industry standard used on most major websites. A cookie is a small text file that our websites may place on your computer as usually they are used as a means for websites to remember your preferences. Cookies are thus designed to improve your dealing with our websites.
Cookies may also collect and store personal information about you and we extend the same privacy protection to your personal information, whether gathered via cookies or from other sources. You can alter your browser to disable cookies or to warn you when cookies are being used. However, if you disable them you may not be able to access certain areas of our websites or take advantage of the improved dealing with our websites.
AAP uses cookies for its online advertising and reporting including:
- to provide advertising management and delivery across our websites and also for tailoring and profiling advertising to a user’s interest.
- to analyse usage statistics on our websites so as to improve our customer dealing with our websites. No personally identifiable information is collected.
- to provide search engine and website conversion reporting information from our websites. Again no personally identifiable information is collected.
- to analyse statistical internet traffic and usage information for the purposes of preparing usage reports and analysis. Whilst it is not intended to collect personally identifiable information, some may be collected in limited circumstances such as when an email address is incorporated into a URL string. Personally identifiable information collected in this way is not used by us for any purpose.
Internet Protocol Addresses (IPA)
We also collect IPA’s as part of service operations for our internet management, session information and also for security purposes. IPA’s are given to computers on the internet to uniquely identify them within the global network.
Electronic Telephone Calling Number Display
Persons receiving telephone calls may be able to identify who is calling them by an electronic display of the caller’s number as part of the ordinary telephony service that may be purchase from a telephone service operator like say Telstra. Unless you have chosen to block your (home or mobile) phone number, or have a silent line your phone number may be displayed (or logged) - locally and sometimes internationally - on our telephone system. You can take measures or make arrangements with your telephone service provider to prevent this display and if so then you will need to contact them to make those arrangements.
