In Melbourne on September 1st, 1997, Andrew Shanahan opened his own Airport Parking business: ANDREW'S AIRPORT PARKING. With no customers, only 50 available car parks and one staff member he commenced operation.

With careful planning, dedicated staff training, outstanding customer service and solid marketing campaigns Andrew’s has become the market leader in Melbourne after just 5 years in operation.

Andrew’s Airport Parking is now considered as one of the largest off-airport car parking operations in Melbourne and has won a number of Awards including the Victorian Fair Trading Award winner in 1999 for outstanding customer service (Andrew pictured right proudly holding the award) and Andrew’s has made the “BRW Fast 100” list for 4 consecutive years running.

However it is important to note that we have never lost sight of the fact that the cornerstone of our success is the high levels of “Good Old Fashioned Service" that we provide to each and every customer every time you park with us. A great example is our very first customer, Mr Frank Halim, who still parks with us today.

TODAY AT ANDREW'S

Today the Andrew’s name continues to grow.

At Andrew’s Airport Parking Melbourne we now have a capacity of up to 1500 vehicles, 5 shuttles in operation at any one time and with over 60 staff now employed we guarantee your parking experience will be second to none.

In 2004 Andrew’s Parking Services was born, a new business arm dedicated to managing car parking businesses and to date we have metropolitan car parks under management in Melbourne and Hobart. More recently Andrew’s Parking Services were appointed and successfully carried out the contract to supply car parking management and staff for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games. This was the biggest job Andrew’s Parking Services has ever won involving the management and supply of over 300 staff operating over 35 car parks in Melbourne and Country Victoria.

In June, 2006 , Andrew’s Airport Parking opened in Brisbane and we are very excited as this is our first interstate branch. With a dedicated team and up to 800 parking spaces available we hope to replicate the success we have enjoyed here in Melbourne.
